How much does a DJ charge in Hertfordshire?
The cost of a mobile disco hire in Hertfordshire is often the first question many people will want to ask a DJ. However we think the answer to a questions such as 'how much experience do you have?' or do you use quality DJ equipment are far more important. If you are going to decide which mobile disco to hire based just on price alone then please do not contact us as we are not the cheapest and therefore not the DJ service for you. Having said all that although we provide a very high quality mobile disco service our DJ hire rates are very competitive and a long way from being the most expensive. The level

What music do you play?
Just about anything you like. A mobile disco has the versatility
of adapting the music selection depending on audience reactions.
Before the party we ask you to provide a list of your favourite
tracks and on the night we always take requests. Pro Mobile
Disco is highly experienced with party DJs who will read the
crowd and select music tracks that will work best throughout
the event. However we advise against long play lists, as this
do not allow flexibility or help the DJ build the party atmosphere.
Requests with inappropriate or graphic lyrics will not be
played at some functions such as Kids parties or School Discos.
Will You Turn Up?
We always arrive, and arrive on time. We check the route
from our base to the party venue in advance and allow at least
double the estimated journey time, most of the time we get
to the party venue much earlier than required.
What equipment do you use?
The mobile Disco equipment we use is updated all the time

Disco Equipment. Every mobile disco in Hertfordshire will
claim to use top of the range state of the art Mobile DJ equipment.
Unfortunately some of these claims are not true. We have to
be diplomatic and say some DJs use what we describe as a bedroom
DJ set up. Unfortunately a bedroom DJ system will not produce
the right frequency range and the best music played on a cheap
sound system turned up to fill a party venue will kill a party
flat. Its a fact that the Mobile Disco equipment
used by your DJ will have a massive impact on the success
of your party. As in all things quality costs but as tools
of the trade there simply is no substitute for quality. However
the quality of the mobile disco equipment we use is not reflected
in our DJ hire rates which are about the same as other less
well equipped Mobile Discos in Hertfordshire.
Are You insured?
Yes. We hold £10 million pounds in PLI which covers
us to play at any party venue in Hertfordshire and the whole
UK. Most party venues will insist that your DJ holds PLI and
although some party venues are not strict at checking as others
it would be a disaster if your party venue refused to let
your DJ set up because they hold inadequate insurance.
Is the mobile disco equipment safe?
Yes. All our mobile disco equipment displays a PAT certificate
or is still well within manufactures warrantee period. This
means its is electrically safe and is fit for the purpose
of providing a mobile disco service. However accidents do
happen and on the dark of a disco dance floor and after a
few drinks the best of us can trip on unseen obstacles. For
this reason we tape down any loose leads and arrange equipment
to minimize probability of hazards.
Do you belong to any recognized DJ associations.
Yes. Pro Mobile Disco are members of SEDA (south east disco association) and the National
Association of DJs NADJ. These organisations have
a strict code of practice which aims to ensure clients are
provided with a professional DJ and mobile Disco service.
